Is it true that by doing Abs and Cardio at the same day can bring more effective results in your Ab training (esp. after doing Cardio THAN directly Abs)? Or do we get the exact same results in Abs whether did we do it we Cardio or not?

I don't have a great body, but as long as I work hard like now, I'm gonna reach there.

I do my cardio training on separate days, since I want to have all my energy available for my workouts. My ab training only takes 15 minutes and I do it 2, sometimes 3 times a week. It involves incline leg raises, incline situps with weight and incline crunches. I will throw in different exercises from time to time, but what I listed are my favorites. The routine works fine for me and with proper diet and increased cardio, the six pack is attainable even at an advanced age. To answer your question directy, I dont think it helps any to do abs and cardio on the same day.

If you do running, it works the abs. If you've ever noticed, runners "normally" have solid abs.

When I was in cross country in highschool and in peak physical condition, we would have out practices, which were normally 7-10 total miles, and then did our abs 3 out of the 5 days, which consisted of 3000 cruncies total, 1000 regular, and 2000 on the sides.

Yeah...my abs were sexy then. Stupid laziness.

3000, 1000, 2000! P-mahnn, that is ill. I'm surprised you had any abs left after a routine like that. That routine would flat out kill me at any age. I thought football double sessions were a b!tch. Runners dont train for physique, they train for aerobic endurance. If I trained like that, you could chalk my head and shoot 8-ball. How's your site going? I checked it out, but couldnt get into your forum. It seems to me you think for yourself, Good Man!

Just remember,
it doesn't matter if you run daily marathons and then do 500 crunches your not going to get that washboard stomach unless your diet is in check. I didn't use to believe this but I finally broke down after coming to this site and started eating clean. Man, it was the first time in my life that I REALLY had a very noticable 6 pack.

)

Seriously, though. I've let myself go SOOOOOO much since I left highschool. I honestly don't care about diet. As long as I am happy, that is all that matters.

But, the year after I got out, I ate nothing but Wendy's Triple Cheeseburgre meals, with a huge-ass fry. See, that would have been fine, except I had stopped running. So, I gained weight, and all stupid flubby weight. Grrrr

I'm going to be all sexy again though. Ya'll just wait and see. You women will be jumping throgh the screen trying to touch me. HA HA HA!!
