Ok over the past couple of years iv bein eating alot better than i ever have but i want a diet that will actually "shred" the fat off my body.A diet that i can see good results from. The diet i made myself that im going to begin here in a few days, looks like this, if theres something wrong with it please let me know so i can tweak it or redo it or whatever.

meal 1: 6 scrambled eggs (just whites)

meal 2:1 protein shake with 3 scoops of powder and about half of a strawberry bannana yogurt and a cup of skim milk

meal 3:ceaser salad 1 can of tuna and low fat italian dressing

meal 4:1 chicken breast mixed with mixed veggies (carrots, brocolli, peas)

meal 5:same as meal 2

meal 6: 1 1/2 cup of oatmeal and 2 cups of skim milk(and if i have time i was goin to throw in another meal but im not sure what type of food i could fit in there.)

but right now this doesnt look like a diet thats goin to blast the shit out of my fat i mean its a good high protien diet but i dunno can anyone help me out

5'11 bout 238 give or take a few pounds im not sure bodyfat but last time i checked i was like 10% im prolly looking at about 13 to 14% now i havent gained that much fat iv just gained a little since wrestling ended for me.I still go up and wrestle with the young guys for some cardio and i also run 2 times a week and altogether i figured my cals to be about 2200

Your cals are ridiculously low for your size. Very low on Carbs, and Fats (EFA's)

Why when you decide to have carbs, do you have them later in the day?

Not enough fibrous veggies.

Can you figure out the cals and macros for each meal. They seem all over the place. Like meal 1 is 24 g of protein and that is about it.

macros??? And the whole diet was just a eat right diet not any junk food its mainly a diet plan that i can just stay steady with like the past couple of weeks i bein trying to eat well but was a little hard from wroking so much but i switched shifts so its easier to eat better now. And to be honest i dunno why my carbs are at the end of the day heh:hmmm: thats why i wrote this plan out to see if anyone had any better suggestions

Take a look at nutritiondata.com.

Macros Protein, Carbs, Fats.

Why do you think that is a good cutting diet.

And again for your size Cals are crazy low.

I think there are a few things we need to look at here when seeing the exchange between the two of you:

1) you have done a great job of cleaning up your diet and getting rid of junk food. that is a key component to getting on the right track. with any of my clients, before we talk about anything specific, you have to get rid of the shit.

2) Now that you have cleaned it up with regard to food choices, you have to look to improve on it and get all the proper nutrients you need to succeed in reaching your goals, as Iain is saying. So, you need to now look further. Check out nutritionaldata.com or Fitday.com. These are free sites that are helpful in getting nutrition info on the food you eat, and they can help with diet planning.

3) As far as caloric intake goes, you can use the generic formula (if you don't know where you are at right now), which is:

10-12cals/lb of bw to cut
14-16cals/lb of bw to maintain
18-20cals/lb of bw to bulk

Go with maintenance and see what happens. If you are far away from that number, take a few weeks to slowly increase your caloric intake until you get there and then try and maintain, before jumping into a prolonged period of caloric restriction.

i dont think its a good cutting diet it was just me cleaning up me diet like p-funk was sayin im looking for a diet to really cut me down in bodyfat thanks p-funk for the info ill deff take a look at the website

im not out of shape i mean im still young and stuff and i lift and run on a regular its just me havin trouble with cuttin i just got done with a 2 month bulk and i gained a little bit of unwanted body fat tryin to trim that little bit of stomach, love handle pudge off

iv bein able to stay on a bulk diet even though i bein working i just figured since the increase in cardio on a cut diet i wouldnt really have enough time to get all my meals in and do some cardio as well. Im only 19 so i mean im very active and stuff im just needing help on my CUT diet specifically so i can burn some of my unwanted bodyfat
