This might be considered a silly question, but here goes. Pardon the ignorance on this question about boiling pasta with water with salt added.
I put a few dashes of salt into the water in my pot, when I boil water to cook pasta. (Salt reduces the boiling temperature, so the water boils more quickly and it saves a minute or more for the amount of time it takes to boil.)
Question:
After I drain the pasta in a colander, does this salt I've added to the water to boil the pasta, get on my pasta? Therefore, getting into my body?
I am trying to reduce my sodium to about 1,500 MG per day.
TIA.

How to Reduce Your Dietary Sodium/Salt
Most of the sodium in your diet comes from processed foods. The rest comes from the salt added at the table, and salt added while cooking. Observe the sodium RDA and limit the amount of sodium that you consume from all these sources to no more than 2,400 milligrams (mg) each day which is equal to about 1 teaspoon of salt.
