Advatame To Replace Aspartame?
A Japanese company called Ajinomoto is the leading global supplier of aspartame and the largest supplier of amino acids in the world. What you may not know is that they???re also the company behind supplement brand ???Aminovital??? (pictured on right). Word has it that they???ve just applied for FDA approval on a new artificial sweetener called ???Advantame??? which took them 10 years to develop and is for use in foods and beverages. Supposedly Advantame has a sweet, clean sugar-like taste. Because it???s much sweeter than most sweeteners currently available, it???s anticipated to be a top candidate for food and beverage formulations.
???We are all very excited about Advantame. The clean sugar-like taste means that it blends very well with sugar and high fructose corn syrup, providing food and drink companies with an alternative that has both nutritional and environmental advantages.
