Advice Welcome, Im lost.

Im completely lost and sincerely ask for help.

Ive decided that its time to lose weight and get healthier, but because of my work and health im not sure what to do. Im 39 yrs old and currently weigh 299 lbs. Most days i feel pretty good, bit there are others i feel like i have been hit by a truck. I probably eat and drink crap, but that is gonna stop. Im in the process of weening myself off of caffeine. We as a family eat a lot of red meat, pork, and chicken. We dont eat a lot of vegetables. I want to start eating and drinking clean but what does that exactly mean? Sticking to a diet wont be easy but will be much easier than working out. I have plantar fascitiis in both feet and weak knees. I ruptured a bursa sac in one of my knees 2 years ago and my ortho dr said to limit how much strain i put on it. Its hard for me to exercise do to being for a lack of better words so out of shape. How can i shed the weight so exercising becomes easier on my body? Any advice is welcome and very appreciated.

Ive been looking at get something similar to this, waste of money or would i benefit from it?
