Long story short, I got into a fist fight last night (for good reason) and ended up messing up my wrist really badly on this guys head/face. It is swelled up, and it hurts to hold a remote. I have been lifting steadilly 4 times a week since January first.
I have my program that I have been following (PRRS) and I have been improving each week and I absolutely am addicted to the gym. I am going to be unable to use my wrist for at least 1-3 weeks for heavy lifting... what should I do? should I wear a wrist brace, shuold I only do one arm or one sides workouts, and then when my wrist heals in a few moves do the same for my right side?
Im really dissapointed that my training, that has been going steadilly up and up, while my body was looking better and better, has been halted temporarily by a stupid injury. Have any of you injured your wrist/hand before and if so, how did you treat it in terms of weight lifting?
