amino acids which is better capsules, tabs or liquid? and which brand do you guys think is the best. I been taking ON 2222 aminos caps. Common sense I think would be liquid form. opinions?:hmmm:

When/why are you taking them? If you're consuming some form of protein every 3-4 hours you probably don't need them.

I like tabs just wash em down with a glass of water protein powders are enough lol i will always choose tabs over powders due to convienience personally i take BCAA'S and protein powder i have glutamine caps aswelll and all all the vitamins i can afford i hate people who say why u taking them u dont need them ect... take every thing you can and use it to your advantage if i wasnt broke i would have a tub of every thing next to me.. just my two cents....ohh and liquid would be best would digest quickest...

the bulk powder is really bad tasting just a heads up

Chain'd out tastes great and is a good way to get your aminos in as well as make sure you're drinking enough water through the day. sure it costs a little more than bulk powders but the cost to benefit ratio is great and seems to make a big difference to me.

gotta love ppl tryin sell shit lmfao nothing works apart from this stuff... i work for these and its really good buy it hahaha like my comment b4 just take every thin u can get ur hands on train like a fuckin champ and eat like a lion............

I find that I get twice as much (by weight) per dollar if I buy powder versus caps. Plus, if I want a 10 gram dose, I don't want to choke down 10 caps. Liquid is also expensive for what you get, since the concentration of aminos in the liquid is usually low, like 100ml of liquid for 5 grams of AAs and shipping costs money.

So, I've settled on powder. Definitely gives the best bang for the buck.

I like Modern BCAA...yeah you might not NEED aminos, but I like to sip on them during/post workout, when I'm lifting heavier I can tell my recovery time is better. White Blue Razz tastes pretty good and blends pretty well

Just giving the man some well regarded options. Whether he buys it from Orbit or somewhere else, the products I suggested are what I use or have used and like.

I agree: train like mad and eat a ton, but I wouldn't necessarily take everything one can get their hands on.

Exactly, the caps typically have such a small amount of anything that I'd have to take an exorbitant amount of them to get an effective dose.

Twin labs amino fuel has a good profile of aminos and is easily digestible. I also use body tech BCAA+glutomine taste like battery acid but i just mix it with my creatine mono hydrate and add as little liquid as possible and shoot it chasing it with water or what ever.

Battery acid...that sounds horrible. Never tried the stuff.

I like the chewable BCAAs from Powerchews, they make them taste pretty good.

Yeah, those things taste like candy! If you don't want to drink I would go with the Powerchews. If you do...

RecoverPro is really good too. I missed that huge sale they had a while back and I was pissed.

If the protein has BCAAs in it..

If I'm not mistaken most/all animal proteins do as well as most vegetable/grain proteins.

As a treat, I like PowerChews BCAA. They taste like SweetTarts and get your BCAA when you're on the go or can't mess with a shake. I like them since they help curb my sweet tooth. Check them out at Need To Build Muscle (dot) com and use the code "needto139" to get 15% off and free shipping!

Yup, any "complete" protein contains all 20 normal amino acids, so when a protein touts its BCAA content, check the label. Unless it has additional free-form BCAA indicated in the ingredients, the BCAAs they're speaking of are just those that naturally occur in the sequences of the protein isolated.

Not that those are bad, but it's making a big deal out of the protein simply being normal.

i like iBCAA because its at a proven ratio at 2-1-1. also mixes well and its price is decent. i mix it with Lit Up as pre workout with Creapure as my creatine

Are choices are effective, but it comes down to rather if you like to swallow ton of horse pills, or tablets, or drink the stuff. I have tried so many over the years and just found Scivation's Xtend to be the best I've ever tried. It's powder form and you can get it at Orbitnutrition.com
