So in the "Middle Ages", when superstition was the order of the day, it was actually a time of forward thinking.![]()
Even today, stuff like black cats, broken mirrors, knocking on wood, and astrology are commonly accepted around the world (superstitions tend to vary by region). But yeah, back when superstition ran rampant, mostly because science hadn't explained a lot, they still made great discoveries and inventions. And you really think that the Renaissance wasn't an age ripe with superstition?

But if you really need to call it the Dark Ages, go ahead. But it says more about you than it does about the 5th to 15th centuries.
