I remember seeing these on Faces of Death. I am pretty sure they are fake.
When in doubt look it up on snopes ... and over there they say it's a fake. Had me fooled, but then again we're looking at a low res youtube clip. Even at standard res things that were missed here would be way more obvious.

BC, it's hard to believe those clips (the guy getting mauled) is real because why in the world would you drive out there with your wife and your little kids in the car when your surrounded by a bunch of lions. Then, he steps out to take a picture and boom he's dead. It's a little fishy to me.

it fooled me but the camera focusing in on the baby crying seems the only really suspicious looking moment. it's a good fake. i don't see their point though

shiz I'm with ya on that one. No way in hell you'd ever see my little ones in the back of the vehicle while something dangerous is afoot. But, morons abound. They're everywhere. Sometimes they don't even know they're morons :mooh: Look how much the Nigerians take from morons every day just from scams ran on eBay and craigslist.

I never watched the faces of death clips. I've never heard of this particular story, so when I first watched the clip I was taken in. AKIRA pointed it out as a fraud so I looked closer and started to see the little inconsistencies in what would be done by a normal person. Who the hell would just film his family member getting eaten by lions? Snopes was my next stop and ... yup it's a fake.

Bingo.

Id even say a person in another car that WASNT part of the family wouldnt be sitting there taping it..much less a crying baby in the background.

There are other clips on faces of death that seem fake. Like the guy who parachutes into a alligator farm and gets eaten. Same camera story.

Limewire has been the only system Ive used that never effected me with any of that shit. Kazaa, Morpheus, those sure did.

Just like in other threads, the talk about "bit torrents?" Ive never needed to go use these bit torrents cuz limewire gets me what I need right away every time.

The vids I downloaded and the vids on faces of death are uncomfortable watch..at least for me. A tv reporter who shoots himself, a soldier that gets a knife into his throat while a boot his holding his head down on gravel. I even had a vid of some guy jumping out of a 20 something story window to escape a fire only to fall to his death. Anyway, all those vids were found by me in a curious state. I wanted to see vids of people dying, but it just made me sick. I deleted them all about a year ago.

I've seen all he ones you mentioned already so I guess I didn't miss anything. That Chechen soldier was not as bad as the PEarl video was from what I understand, though I've never seen his execution. Anyway limewire is okay? My ex wants to download and burn music but she's computer ignorant. Email is a challenge for her. She is fluent at ASL, can deal with a room full of emotionally disturbed teen agers (the brilliant ones not just the retarded ones) yet computers just piss her off. So I need to hook her up with simple stuff. Point and click and let the program run kinda things.

Viruses will mean either our 19 year old son or I will have to support her system more than we really want too.

the last few times i used limewire zone alarm, my antivirus, deleted enough stuff to make uninstalling limewire seem like a good idea. i used limewire for years but it seems to have more bad stuff than ever.

i use utorrent. it's not complicated and you don't even need to install it you run it directly from the exe. i downloaded a 3.5 gb movie for my son in under 2 hrs the other day. i can get 5 or more movies in a day. just watched The Tibetan Book Of The Dead narrated by Leonard Cohen.

utorrent is far superior and torrent sites rarely have any spy, adware or viruses. the only viruses my pc had found lately are in files from discs i copy onto here. the discs are programs music etc i got when i used limewire.

Same here LW. utorrent is running rt now uploading s3 of both Lost and Battlestar Galactica in 720p. Totals out to like 76gigs worth. It'll take me a week to get my ratios good enough to stop up'ing those two files. Torrents are great for bigger files, but for single songs I recall that kazaalite was the one I had the best luck with. Just wondered if limewire was as good since it's been a while and I'm behind the times on the smaller p2p file sharing
