Another carb/up refeed question..

Im sorry for all these stupid questions on my refeeds but Im just trying to get this stuff right the first time.

Here is the scenerio:
I was on my fourth depletion day yesterday. By the early evening I had already had my assigned amount of carbs and I just felt sh$tty. Shaky, blacking out when I stood up , dizzy (drunk feeling - normally good - but not this time!)

I was in the middle of my dance review, (I perform on weekends) so I ate a jolly rancher and felt WAY better. I had planned on doing my carb up today. After the show I was fine for a while and then I just felt sooo hungry for carbs . I ignored it and ate some protein and attempted to wait for my planned HI day.

It happened again and I had to drink 20 grams of soda pop (I know thats not good. I had a bowl of oats 1/2 cup and prtein and went to bed.

I know this was not mental because I dont feel like eating crap, I rarely want to cheat, and binging isnt really an issue with me.
My questions are :

* do these sound like signs of needing a refeed ? (just tryin to be sure)

* should a person WAIT for these signs before refeeding or should I just have a set schedule like every fourth day .

* Did I do the right thing by trying to force myself to wait until today or should I have just went with it and started my refeed late at night like that?

For those who dont know .. Here is my schedule.

5 days at 40 min (pre breakfast) CARDIO - planning on a decrease here

3-4 days 1 hour weight training.
I lift as heavy as I can 8-10 reps.
Female, 5'3 117 pounds. 17% BF
 
I think you should reconsider your diet. I don't think carb depletion is right for you. I think you would better off mentally and physically doing a 40/40/20 and skipping depletion/refeeds all together. It sounds to me like you have some blood sugar issues. Have you ever been tested?
 
Well .. Ive tried 40/40 /20 and I dont drop fat..

I dont have these problems every day. Only by the third or fourth day which is why I thought my glycogen stores were too low.
Ive been tested but not a glucose tolerance test. Just a fasting blood sugar test and it was fine.
Normally I feel great.. Its only if I go NO carb or the scenerio above..
If I would of had my refeed like I should have and not tried to push it another day I would have been I dont think it would have happened.
Do you think thats what happens to people when they are carb depleted?

It doesn't happen to me. I can deplete for several days, (up to a week last year) and I was fine, tired but fine. I really don't think this diet is safe for you :no:

Hmmmmmm..........Have you looked into carb cycling? There is only 1 day of depletion then a day of carbs and 1 day depletion etc...... It can always be manipulated to suit your fat loss needs.
 
Yah I felt more depleted on that than this.. I think its because of what I PMd you about.
