Comeon guys this is based off of a Phil Dick story, you know the guy who's book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? inpired Ridley Scott to make Bladerunner. We Can Remember It for You Wholesale inspired Total Recall and Minority Report pays homage to many of his themes and plots...

I mean Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder took salaries of $72,000 for this movie because they are both huge fans of PKD, it's all done in rotoscope just like Waking Life so you know that it's going to be very surreal and dreamlike....

Vieope have you seen it yet?

So umm...how's the weather down there?

Egads! This thread really bombed!

81 degrees, nice ocean breeze...partly sunny but thats good for my garden since my veggies could use a break from the summer sweltering sun that ended last month. My jicama is looking good and so is my spinach plants and the basil, parsley and green onions are full and thick and the smell is over powering when you pass by them...just put some fertilizer spikes around the base of the mango tree hopefully next year we get tons of fruits, the papaya tree is doing well. I am looking forward to this year being a little more kind with the rain but not too kind like it was last winter...;):D

Good movie, I liked the ending. Was a bit trippy to watch.

Not like Waking Life, in that one you had several different artists doing the rotoscoping at different times and alot of shiftiness, that was trippy...

Haven't seen that one yet.

weird i was just talking to someone about that on yahoo the other day
The fact that Bladerunner was based on a book called 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'? Or the authors last name was Dick  Hey your'e the one with the mind in the gutter most of the time...

Not yet but I will. I think it is probably an imitation of walking life, at least the way it was made. Is it made by the same director? But I heard good things about the author and the book so I will see it.

Have you ever saw an old show called Twin Peaks?

Twin Peaks and Jacobs Ladder were the first 2 things that swayed me into the world of weird and odd, I was at the impressionable age of 13 when I saw them so delving into the strangest things was very interesting, from then on I started watching other David Lynch movies and reading about psycology and ways our own minds can play tricks on us, I heard the song by Pink Floyd where he says he had a fever and had hallucinations, that was shortly after my brother was sick and had a fever and one night he woke up and told me about the Devil disguised as a hotdog chasing him so he slept with the Bible for a while after that. I started learning how things like an eyelash falling while I was deep into reading a book all alone in my room would seem like someone just walked past the door of my bedroom...things like that...:thumb:
