I read it. He clearly acknowledged the existence of DNA. No where did he say he didn't believe in molecular biology or genes. He said he couldn't affirm some details.

Admitting your ignorance is a much more scientific stance than attempting to twist someone's words to suit your prejudice.

In this age of instant information gathering there is no excuse for someone in such a position to be ignorant on the subject which he would be making a ruling on. Choosing to remain ignorant is inexcusable.
