My sink is clogged , I tried plunging it . When I do it goes into the other side of the sink . I run the garbage disposal, same thing . Any advice %?

I live in a shitty apartment
 
No for real I had dishes soaking in one side then was washing my hands in the other , the water wouldn?t drain . Only thing out of the ordinary was I switched dish soap scents from lemon to apple
