Right now I use Whey protein after the gym.
I eat clean. I'm trying to get leaner and add some muscle.
My macros are at 50% protein 30% carb and 20% fat
For the convenience and also because I get sick of eating I have been using Labrada Low Carb Lean Body MRP for one "meal" during the day.
Here's the info:
230 calories
42 grams protein
2 grams fat
12 grams carbs
It's sort of expensive (though I know some like Myoplex are more)
Was wondering if anyone can suggest a product I could use that won't require a blender (the Labrada mixes really well just shaking it) that might be more economical but still convenient.
I don't mind if it's not in individual packets. Any ideas?
I suppose I could go with protein powder and have some fruit for a bit of carb (or is that a bad idea if I'm trying to get leaner)
Do any protein powders have enough carb in them to stand on their own as a meal without having to add anything? Any taste good and mix well and cost less then these MRPs?
