Besides me and Foreman?

Serious Fans Only. :(

AFI (the newer stuff like Sing the Sorrow)
Brand New- Deja Entendu
Story of the year
Taking Back Sunday
Fall out Boy

I like AFI and Fall Out Boy. 30 Seconds to Mars are cool too.

Angels and Airwaves - The Adventure
Snow Patrol
My Chemical Romance
AFI
30 Seconds to Mars - Attack
The Used

Fall Out Boy's new CD is the only one have I listened to. I also like Funeral for a Friend, and their cd Hours is pretty good.

Story of the Year - Sidewalks

The bridge is all crumbled.
The water soaks into rocks
that fell at the bottom of the road (At the end of the town.)
The town that we lived in.
The memories shaken apart from the weeds that grow

Over the sidewalks,
Running away from the streets we knew,
Sidewalks,
Like the time we thought was made for you.
Oh...

Out on the front porch,
watching the cars as they go by
(Eighteen blue, twenty one grey)
Looking ahead for the first time that we could drive,
Out on our own,
To speed away

From the sidewalks,
Running away from the streets we knew,
Sidewalks,
Like the time we thought was made for you.
Oh...

All of the days have passed us by,
All of the sun is gone... away.

Sidewalks,
Running away from the streets we knew,

Sidewalks,
Running away from the streets we knew,
Sidewalks,
Like the time we thought was made for you.
(Sidewalks)
The bridges are crumpled,
The water soaks into rocks,
(Sidewalks)
That fell at the bottom of the road.

BigDyl, what album would you recommend for someone who's never listened to emo music and wanted a good sampling?

Start with some songs first, like,

Angels and Airwaves - The adventure

My Chemical Romance - Helena

The Used - Poetic Tragedy

How about just a single CD?

I really like the new My Chemical Romance album.

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge

On the album, stand out songs, are 1, 5,6,10

Another Album,

Snow Patrol - Final Straw

My local shop has this on hand. I'll pick it up on the way home.

You could always DL it...

Few bands of any genre can make such an album.

I don't know what you like... you may like Snow Patrol better...

I changed my mind, start off with the AFI album. It's more musically technical. MCR sounds a little more poppy.

AFI - Sing The Sorrow

Just DL it... if you need help lemme know. ;)

I started on Napster back in '97. I just try to support the bands that I listen to by buying their albums.

So you know about torrents, ares, ircd's, etc?

Yes, I do. I mainly use them to try out games and music and to get shows (usually BBC stuff) that I can't get in the US.

if you wanna support a band, request their songs on the radio and go to their concert.

and the first "The Used" cd is the best emo cd IMO!

Ya, Eric Moulds is one of my favorite football players. I'm pissed he went to the texans though.

What shows do you like?

I think that Napster came out in '96.

I like to watch Doc Who, before it came to the US and I can't stand the heavy editing they need to do to fit in the commercials.

I also like Darren Brown. That's shit is crazy. I'm an NLP junky.

I also liked 5 Degrees North, but I can't find it anymore.

Spooks is also a good show.

Hey Bunny, are you doing okay down there? Are you safe from the riots?

BTW, I thought that riots in Brazil would be way cooler. Like a bunch of half naked Brazilian hotties running around shooting each other with whip cream.

Hi from the UK : I would try The Kooks or even better than that - my good friend is over in the US plying his trade take a look at www.buddaheadmusic.com - his band are fantastic and are classed as EMO apparently. Try the track "when i fall"

D

I am fine, I guess all that violence is over now. I wish it was women running around naked.

Have you ever saw hustle? It is the same creator of spooks but it is way better. Father Ted, men behaving badly and coupling are great too. They are all british shows.

Brainiac, how could I forgot to list that? It is also great. Luckily we get them all on cable tv.
