My doc prescribed me Lipitor to help get my lipids under control. All my other bloods look good, but my lipids were trashed (from orals).

I'm on just 10mg/day and it's already giving me horrible full body aches. It's taking longer than a week for me to feel like I've recovered from each muscle group workout.

I'm mid cycle on 700mg Tren Ace, 350mg Test Prop, 250mg Deca. Other than the aches, I'm feeling damn great. Absolutely none of the usual Tren sides I'm used to, because of my low dosed Test, high dosed Tren.

I do want to get my cholesterol in check, but these aches have me feeling lethargic and unmotivated.

Has anyone run Lipitor and know of any tricks? Appreciate it.

statin drugs(zocor, lipitor...) are some of the worst things a dr can prescribe.... they fuck your endocrine system up, and raise liver values through the roof...

If your dr only has you on 10mg, they aren't too bad(serious, but not outta this world).. you can use garlic extract, and fish, flax, and borage oils to bring your lipids down...(and lay off the AI's)..nolva actually helps lipids though... I would take 3000mg of fish/flax/borage oil 3x/day along with garlic extract 3x/day... within a month they should be satisfactory to your dr... keep taking them, they will keep improving your lipids and you shouldn't have any more probs... btw, tren FUCKS your lipids

i would stop taking the lipitor.. eat a clean diet that is low in carbs and take garilic and fish oil and coconut oil

Thanks, that's very helpful. My last lipid panel was something like a 14 HDL and 227 LDL. Granted, this was after 4 weeks of Superdrol and Anadrol (low dose of each). Were it not for the SD and Drol, I know I'd be in much better shape with my lipid values. Amazingly, my liver values were all within good range.

I'll take your suggestions on the supps. When on orals, I try to run 10g of fish oil a day in addition to other EFA's. I'll run the same throughout my cycle as well and see how I turn out in a month, without the Lipitor. My cycle's gonna be no good if I feel like crap from the Lipitor.

Appreciate it. I'll take a better look at my diet. I've adjusted most of the generally suggested diet areas to improve my lipids, but haven't taken a look at my carbs as closely as I should.

Followup question that's related to your response... How about CKD on cycle? Has anyone had success in terms of lipid values after running CKD for a month or two? I gave CKD a shot last year, but threw in the towel pretty quickly.

i have read that lower carbs generally increases the size of ldl particles making them less dangerous, if dangerous at all, and it lowers triglycerides.

having larger ldl particles will raise your ldl number because the test results are based on weight IIRC, however if your triglycerides are low, you are in good shape.
