I was just wondering if anyone from Montreal (or not) knows local bodybuilder Larry Vinette?

He used to be a personal trainer at my gym (no I never got him for a personal trainer) before he moved to the big gym in the east end of Montreal a few years ago.

Dale Mabry you might know him & the gym I'm talking about?

But what it says about him being natural makes me laugh.
He was always telling us how long it took with the help of drugs to go from a skinny 5ft8 150lbs kid, to a ripped as you can see about 195lbs or so give or take a few lbs.

A couple of buddies of mine went to a local contest of his for natural body builders. He won, but a few weeks later had his title revoked as he tested positive for steroids.

Also right before he left he told us he'd tried growth hormone stacked with insulin. He had to stop after 2 weeks of use because his jaw started getting bigger & decided to stick to just roids.

But I must say steroids or not, he is very symetrical with good mass & is ripped. He has good power to for his size.

Hopefully this thread won't wind up like the other guy I know. I just want to know if any of you heard of him & what you think of his physique roids or not.

I found this in the latest Muscle Mag a Canadian magasin company affiliated with the Muscle Tech supplements. Greg Kovacs also Canadian has been in the magazine along with WWE star Trish Stratus. She used to do a lot of fitness posing.

Whether he is natural or not I don't think you should "out" anymore people here.....it doesn't seem like a cool thing to do at all.

not to mention, who gives a shit if someone is "natural" or not anyway? I don't.

Taking steroids does not make a champion or a champion physique, hard work, dedication, discipline, and genetics do.

Robert DiMaggio I know what you mean, that's exactly what I thought when I first saw him at the gym. But all that I said above about his drug use is true. When I found out how much Testosterone Suspenison he'd be on per year, wow.

But drugs or not, he's damn symetrical & has good size for his body type. He has a small bone structure.

Robert DiMaggio I totally agree with you on your recent reply.

But I mainly posted his picture because he has one of the best physiques I've seen. I absolutely think he has a great physique & I've seen him train & he does train hard.

He's also a cool guy to. I think he'd be glad to have his pic's on the net. More ppl hearing his name & seeing his hard work.

Robert DiMaggio not at all. To each his own. But I don't agree with the magazine saying he's natural %100 when he's told ppl what he takes. That's all.

If steroids had no risks & I had no newly developed but treated thyroid condition, I would've been on steroids myself 6 or 7 yrs ago. Had I taken several mass cycles when I was 5ft9 227lbs with descent definition/strength, I would've probably hit 240-250lbs & would've been damn huge. Now I'd probably hit between 220-230lbs. I still get the urge to inject even now.

I dont' either, kind of like when Ronnie Coleman said he was all natural, no seroids here!

Unfortunately it happens all of the time, every major supplement company use pro bodybuilders to sponsor their products when we all know that pro-hormones are the last thing that a pro bodybuilder uses, or hyroxcut to get lean for a show.

Maybe the magazine was saying that he is all natural now, not natural for life, or maybe they misinterpreted what he said, who knows.

Robert DiMaggio no sh!t. A few guys I know to get lean they'd cycle winstrold depot injectable, primobolan or a different form such as Primobol I believe it's called from the British Dragon company in Thailand, Deca or nandralone, equipoise, parabolan, & throw in some clenbuterol. These compounds when stacked together 2 or 3 at a time would do wonders for definition & striations as long as the diet was good & they trained hard.

But personally I like this guy a lot as you agree he's well proportioned & symetrical with good size for his height & body type.

Dale Mabry have you ever heard of him since you live in Montreal?
He goes to the Pro Gym.

my reply

first of all, thank you for talking about me.

Second, the thing I tested positive for was norandrostenidiol (converts into nandrolone). Andro products were not banned back then, but there is no way of testing to see if it was from norandro or deca.

I have admitted to using steroids in the past but have made the decision to go clean 6 years ago. Yes 6 years. And I have tried GH in 1994 for a month (not with insulin), but my jaw never got fucked-up. I used to compete at 198 lbs. back then, but now I only weigh 178 lbs. If I were still using, I`d be a lot closer to 198 lbs.
I have not retained any of the gains because I had stopped training completely for 2 years and had to start from scratch.(If you are knowlegable enough about weight-training you will know that a muscle that is not being worked will come back to it`s original size given enough time)

As far as my contest conditionning, that`s just discipline, smart dieting and knowing your body well. After all, I have been competing for 10 years.

If you want to know more about acheiving your best on stage, call me at 514-254-0629

My advice to you, don't put your phone number in a post viewable by anyone. I wouldn't trust all these people...

I guess you're being sarcastic?

This is one big thing I hate about gyms, someone even a reliable source starts a rumor & before you know it everyone is believing that rumor even if it's not true.

Well at least you're honest about using steroids. Many ppl I've known who use them don't tell the truth & then everyone is shocked by their massive weight gain. I'm glad you decided to go clean for your future health.

As for the GH & jaw thing, a whole other big nasty thing that got started by someone. As word gets around the original story tends to each slightly after each person hears it. This is one thing as mentioned before that I hate about gyms.

I have not retained any of the gains because I had stopped training completely for 2 years and had to start from scratch.(If you are knowlegable enough about weight-training you will know that a muscle that is not being worked will come back to it`s original size given enough time)
Why did you have to stop training? That really sucks, as I sometimes hat even just taking a week off. But yes I know it will take time for the muscle to come back to the original size after training is seised.

If anyone knows that I do after losing 30lbs of mostly muscle in 3-4 weeks due to a newly developed hyper thyroid condition back in the year 2000. I am slowly getting my condition with size back. I am currently between 205-210lbs & my condition is getting better as time goes on.

As far as my contest conditionning, that`s just discipline, smart dieting and knowing your body well. After all, I have been competing for 10 years.
That you are right about.

All I can say is that you have always impressed me with your condition & hard work.

Again anything that was said were rumors going around after you left the old gym. I'm not there anymore either as I hated that gym for the most part & most of the staff as you know how they are.
