anyone on here tried epo?

While I have seen a few sources that carry EPO, I have never thought of it as much of a benefit for strength sports, such as Powerlifting or Bodybuilding. I would just be curious what you find interesting about it? Are you a endurance athlete of some kind?

Sorry for the newb question, but wtf is EPO?

epo is Erythropoietin it causes your body to produce more red blood cells... it is a cleaner form of blood doping..

I find it interesting because increased rbc would increase vascularity and would provide increased ability to recover from workouts. The increase in nutrients would be beneficial.

Interesting idea...I would be concerned about the side effects as compared to the benefit, but I know extremely little about EPO truly other than what I have red on various medical sights. I had just never really heard it used in this manner. It very well may provide the benefit you seek. I know you were possibly looking for first hand experience with EPO, so I did not mean to just jump in and thread jack, just curious and interested.

naps used to carry it. I'm interested too, I'm a mountaineer and could benefit from the extra rbc's. My last climb to 12000 ft was immediately after a cycle and my rbc's were reallly high. My endurance was amazing and I didn't get the usual altitude sickness that I get when climbing.

so it turns out it's in demand, but no one has it?.. wtf lolol.. I can't find much info on cycles with it either.. like dosing or anything.. hmm I found a peptide site that has it, but I doesn't have much for reviews..

anyone order their rat's research chems from peptide warehouse?

I believe that testosterone has the same effect as EPO. my rbc's were off the chart when I was on test. so, epo is really only beneficial if you were looking for increased rbc's and not increased muscle too.

test increases natural epo levels.. as does most other aas, but epo would boost it drastically more than aas alone.

I'm an athlete and I've researched epo extensively. I really wanted to try it but decided against. Epo is a really dangerous drug, if it's not dosed purposely, you can get multiple blood clots, extremely high bp, stroke, and worst of all death. Athletes use it in two week cycles, effects last up to 3-4 months. To safely use epo, you need constant medical supervision, at least twice a week during a cycle you need check hemocrit levels and rbc to safely adjust the proper dose.

A good safe alternative would be to do an eq cycle, that's what I'm doing right now

from just test alone, my hematrocrit was 54% which is really high, a normal for a male is 45%. a hematocrit over 50% is considered illegal in professional sports.
The research suggests that a hematocrit of 55% is the optimal level for oxygen delivery.
So, I wouldn't expect to see an additional benefit in using EPO. I think endurance athletes choose EPO because it doesn't add the weight like testosterone. does.

I've given blood twice on cycle and the techs freak out over my blood. They keep calling me to donate platelets cause I have so much. they seriously won't leave me alone.
I tell them I'm at high altitude a lot, lol

couldn't you just do a single moderate dose pin of it and get a spike that would last?.. not as long, but it would work a lil.. idk just thinking about it.. it can't be that dangerous..

it was made to replace anadrols, its supposed to be safer, why do people think its only good for endurance, anadrols produce rbc;s and thats all they do, i recovered from liver failure, and my kidneys would not produce epo, so my doc gave me 10.000 units twice a week for 6 weeks, the stuff works for 3 to 6 months, i havnt been training and i put a ral good 20 lbs on and i always feel pumped, i started taking 200 mgs of cyp a week and feel great, im gonna get back in the gym, i think you get alot from it it last up to 6 months, thats awesome, ive had joint pains, but cant say for sure if its epo,

huh? all anadrol does is produce rbc's? You gained 20lbs on just epo?

Sorry, but epo is NOT a replacement for adrol.
Anadrol is known to cause an increased production of red blood cells, but it is NOT aimed directly at that outcome like epo is....

im going on what my doc said when i was prescribed epo, i couldnt take anadrol, unimed still makes em, because my liver was failing, so he had to give me the epo, and thats what i meant, if anadrol stimulates rbc;s, then epo cant be any different if they do the same thing, my point was im sure its great for weights guys were saying it was only good for endurance, thats all my friend edit.................................................................. my doctor actually wanted to give the drols because i wasnt making rbc;s, but had to give epo cause of my liver, so im just saying they kinda do the same thing, man you guys are tuff.

It can and is that dangerous. Lance Armstrong, though he denies it, is said to have used this but stopped to use the Gas Bus as it is not as dangerous. Even at that he had problems with dehydration and high blood pressure.

BTW - Gas Bus = Actovigen

EPO is truly a dangerous med to mess with.

interesting stuff here i stil want to learn more. i liked the fast could take it for 2 weeks and feel effects for up 2 6 months after. im not looking for a huge jump so i dont need the same amout that the lance armstrongs need but i want an extra boost b4 basic. any more info on this?
