I am trying to clean bulk and I am about to start Vitargo-CGL. I have just used regular creatine mono in the past and I have already bought the Vitargo-CGL so no need to tell me that you think I should just stick with the mono (I already bought the tub of Vitargo and I'm going to give it a try for a month).
Anyway, I am taking this as a post-workout supplement. One serving consists of 2 scoops, which gives you carbs (60 g/serving) and creatine (10 grams/serving) (no sugar and no protein). I will mix this with protein powder immediately post workout.
My question is this: Should I only take one scoop rather than 2 scoops? I raise this question because I had heard that the body can only use about 5 grams of creatine per day so any more is essentially wasted.
I have heard that the 2 scoops gives you the 60 grams of waxy maize starch, so if you only used 1 scoop, you would only get 30 grams of the WMS, and perhaps that is a reason to take 2 scoops. I am not sure if it matters but I work out first thing in the morning, take a preworkout whey and water combo, and after my post workout shake I shower, shave, and then eat oatmeal with a scoop of whey.
Looking forward to your thoughts/experience.
