So...I LOVE Thai food. I made this awesome Thai chicken soup tonight (Tom Yum Gai) and ate it with basmati rice. These are the ingredients I used in the soup. Anything unclean about this?

-Chicken Breast
-Fresh Thai Kaffir Lime Leaves
-Fresh Galanga (Thai Ginger)
-Fresh stalk of Lemon Grass
-Garlic
-1 Vegetable Bullion Cube
-1 tsp Garlic Red Chili Paste
-1/2 tsp of chopped green chili
-1/2 tsp of Fish Sauce
-Water
-Black Pepper
-Juice of 1 Fresh Lime

The fish sauce and what's in the garlic red chili paste - did you make both yourself or were they pre-packaged? In other words, what's in them?

Not that it would even matter if it was such a tiny amount (tsp or 1/2 tsp). But everything else, all clean beyond a doubt, if you ask me.

Actually the only other thing i would ask would be about the bouillion cube - if you're watching your sodium intake at all, because those tend to be really high in sodium.

I don't see anything wrong with fish sauce

I didn't know what they meant by fish sauce, didn't know it was a ready-made concoction, or something! haha! i was thinking something that comes in a squeeze bottle or a glass jar full of STUFF. :)

thanks for clarifying!

Yea...the bullion and fish sauce have tons of sodium but not much else. The red chili paste has a tiny amout of sodium and that's it.

I'm not watchin my sodium at this point so....
