Every time a tragedy happens we here about how mean the world has become, and I agree we see very evil work by very evil people but are humans really meaner?
1. What would a Native American from 1700's say?
2. What would an Africian from 1800's say?
3. Jew from the 1930-40's?


Then my favorite.... media, TV and video games have desensitized us.... Really .... 150 years ago it was COOL to own PEOPLE.

People are just as mean as they have been for centuries. The only difference is how word gets around the world instantly. Shit happened before in far away places and it took weeks to hear about it, if you ever did hear about it. My theory is we are all to sensitive about peoples feelings and dont let kids fight in school anymore. Boys need to battle it out and get it out of their system. Otherwise they carry around all this hate and tension till they do something horrible. When I was young I would scrap all the time and get a week off of school to chill as punishment, sometimes I would fight with a friend over something stupid like he stole my girl, afterwards we would have school off for a week and end up hanging out again and laughing about it.
They need to teach common sense,manners and courtesies in school and personel hygiene. with the economy the way it is it takes too parents making income to sustain a household and this shit just isnt getting taught at home like it used to be.
