Well Premier, that is and isnt true... many animals can remember that kind of stuff. But its more than anything bears semblance to an instinct from that point on. So when they pee on the carpet, they know they know they are going to get a whooping and so might go hide.

However, a dog doesnt sit there on the sofa with your pipe while you are out and ponder the benifits vs the consequences, nor does it ponder the reactions in its body that give it the urge to piss on the carpet. It pees, it instinctually realizes the result, and then it whimpers and hides.

Eggs-- Yes, but the dog only knows this is bad because you have caught it in the act before. If the dog pees or shits on the floor it is common conseption to rub its nose in it. This is an EXTREME nono. Some dogs will start eating their feces because of this. They dont know wrong untill you teach them, and it has to be in the act.

I just don´t believe how someone can assume what is going on in another animals head. It ´s just not possible.
