Are You A Alcohol Drinker?

I'm not a slutty lush, but at one time I'd down about 12-15 beers and several shots a night on top of whatever there was to snort, swallow or smoke. Now I like to settle back every now and again with a couple tall White Russians to relax.

i recently quit drinking coffee and alcohol. just another part in commiting to a healthy lifestyle. but i liked captain morgan, jack daniels, good beer :) in moderation of course.

grey goose or kettle one vodka with a little cranberry few times a month

Probably can count the number of times I drink in a year on one hand, usually only post contest and once or twice at Christmas, oh and let's not forget at the Olympia getaway... either margarita's or caramel apple martini's for me, girlie drinks and I'm a very cheap drunk! lol

I only have 1 of somthing a week. Only one of anything is my limit. Anymore, I'll sleep for hours on end!

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
I've pretty much given up on alcohol. I have a beer if i really feel like one, but last one I remember having was last August.

Never really liked it to begin with. I had fun in college, but it fits my lifestyle not to drink anyway. Beer hasn't tasted good to me in a long time....

In high school I pretty much only did straight shots. Cruzan Rum was a favorite, as was Smirnoff Vodka. Going into college, Captain Morgan / Admiral Nelson's Spice Rum (depending on funds) were favorites, but it was mostly beer. Busch is my favorite cheap beer, but I really only ever drink Bud Light or mixed drinks (at bars) now. During the school year last year, I started drinking 3 nights a week (thurs fri sat), then I slowed it down to 1 or none nights a week on my cut. This summer, I had BBQ and booze every day for a week and a half starting July 3rd... it was great, but not typical. I plan to booze maybe once a month this fall, when i'm cutting again, but it'll be tough with football season starting again.

i drink on the weekends..corona and, mostly rum & diets. occasional bloody maries & dirty martini's :D i'm going to the tribe game tonight, ill prob start with beer, than switch to rum& diets :)

I usually have a few beers a week. Usually on the weekends when I grill out.

Guinness!
Bittburger
Glenfiddich (scotch)
Crown Royal
Captain Morgans
Single Malt Bushmills
Fosters Bitter
any 100% Agave Tequilla
Jack Daniels (Black Label) Bourbon

Oh, and pretty much ANY late harvest Reisling (wine).

Now believe it or not, despite this laundry list, I rarely drink these days. My drinking habits are (for the most part) purely social. I do occasionaly mix a private drink to relax with but usually, I only consume when entertaining.

Oh, and I only entertain about 3 or 4 times a night!

I rarely drink and when I do I try not to go over board. To me I feel like I'm wasting my time if I go and get drunk or say slash b/c the next day I don't eat as much as I'm suppose to be eating. I do have wine once in a while.. Also, right now I'm training for my 1st comp to I don't want to lose any of my gains.. :)

I like variety so I don't get bored. GOOD beer is key (microbrewed dark ales, IPA's and seasonals). Red and white wines sit in our wine rack, but we never have too many bottles on hand because we drink them as fast as we buy them. Martinis have become a staple in my diet (Grey Goose is my vodka of choice). I got martini tools for Xmas last year and have been a martini mixing fool every since. I just got this new shaker so I can make 2-3 martinis at a time.

So true. Now I do have a weakness for a good microbrew.

Pete's Wicked Ale
Bully Porter
Fat Tire

just to name a few

Not going overboard is key...And of course, drinking pre contest would be stupid, but in this hot weather, nothing like an ice cold brew to unwind on the patio, by the fireplace!

:hmmm: LOL! Just seemed slightly contradictory..... Does it really cool off enought up there to use the fireplace at night in Summer? That actually seems kinda cool to me. :thumb:

There are some good microbreweries in New England. A few of my favorites:

Long Trail (Vermont)
Magic hat (Vermont)
Otter Creek (Vermont)
Harpoon (Vermont)
Smuttynose (New Hampshire)
The Shipyard (Maine)

Hmmm...what's with all the good beer in Vermont?

I like to buy the 12 bottle variety packs. :)

BTW, with very few exceptions (Guinness, Boddington's), good beer does NOT come from a can. :finger:

LOLOL, UP THERE!!! Quebec isnt the great north!!

Actually, no its pretty damn hot here (30-40 celcius lately, whatever that is in F), but its just like when ure out camping, no matter how hot it gets, u still spark up a fire at night right? (well, I do!!lol)

Were fire freaks, got an indoor fireplace but it seemed ridiculous to blas the AC AND have a fire, so we bought an outdoors one!

Ahhhh ok. My wifge is a "Fire Freak" too. Something about the ambiance it creates ;) And hey... Compared to Oklahoma, you ARE "up there" :)
