Just wondering, to perform well in arm wrestling, which bodypart should I focus on training specifically? Is it the forearms, biceps, shoulders, or what?

Internal rotations for the rotator cuff.

arm wrestling is more technique than anything, I can beat people like 10x stronger than me, and vice versa.

Complex problems have simple, easy to understand, wrong answers.

It's definitely more about technique than anything.
Also, creating strength with the motion of arm wrestling. I remember in the movie "Over the Top" with Sylvestor Stallone, he had this contraption in his truck that simulated the movment.
But if I were to say what body parts, it would be forearm, bicep & shoulder.

Are you going to compete or something?

Just because the majority believes it, does not make it true!

Internal rotators, forearm flexors, biceps, brachialis, inner pecs, abdominals for core stabilization. But as TSB and P say...technique is quite important as is mental prep.

symmetry over size

I used to be big into it. As a matter of fact, my brother won world champ left handed in??? I think like 1990. If you want to do good do hammer curls, followed by Chins(palms facing) then wrist curls. There are several others you could do but those are the biggies.

Thoughts are more powerful then Matter

arm wrestling is verybad for you, have you ever seen those people who get there arm snapped. My brother used to do it, but it messes up your arm way to much, so I suggest you to bag it.

I was watcing ESPN classic about a month ago and they were showing some old arm wrestling matches. They were showing guys' arms snapping. It was soooo freaking nasty!!!!!!

No Prince, it's just that I got puzzled after seeing a big massive guy losing arm wrestling to someone my size (I'm 145 lbs). Thus I figure this 'game' is not as simple as it seems. Anyway, what type of technique should I imply on?
