Just some info i will share with all of you. I do the rounds of the supplement shops from time to time and ended up in Brisbane at a well known shop. The owner there told me that they now make there own brand and blend of protein powder and gave me some of the reasons why. Firstly he stated that a lot of companies go with the cheaper forms of whey eg whey concentrate. And he had some lab results that i read regarding labels and to what percentages the labels of several of the well known brands were out by. Some were out by as much as 20% on the label claims, thats right some were only 75-80 percent of what was on the label, and then on top of that had used whey concentrate as the main ingredient and the dearer isolate at smaller percentages. One particular brand uses vast amounts of Castor sugar to get the taste up. He also noted that ACCC action was pending to right these wrong doings. Which brings us back to his own brand that they sell. I have already reviewed the brand and it is Urban Muscle Premium Whey. I only had the one sample. Now at the stage i am at now i have to decide out of all the products i am reviewing as to which ones i am going to use long term. That will come later and will suprise some as to what they are. I have a lot more products yet to come and some suppliers have not fronted up yet after promising product to review .The members of The Iron Dungeon can be rest assured that my supplement review has been viewed by many of the top company brass for the brands that have been so far reviewed and the ones yet to be reviewed to see what it is all about.
