lonestar, bitch.
Im 5ft8in...basically on the shorter side of the spectrum..and weigh roughly 160-65. Im definitly a hardgainer and am proud to put on 20lbs in 2 months.

But the thing is i don't want to keep gaining weight and staying the same heighth because then i will start to 'pudge out', im still growing, but for the time being, should i try to keep it at 165? or is there an ideal weight for shorter guys? i know this is kind of confusing i'll try to re-explain if someone needs it. thanks in advance.

depends on your goals. do you want to be a bigger person? if so, then keep on trying to put on size. if not, then maintain what you have.

I am 5'5" and 185lbs.

Yes i do want to become a bigger person and sounds good, thank you.

just eat right and train hard.. you're going to have to eat more cals to get bigger but if they're clean cals it'll be easier for you to maintain a leaner physique (notice i said leanER.. you're going to get a little excess fat because your'e having to create a caloric excess to gain weight but you can regulate that).. at your height at 200 or over lbs you'd be a damn tank!

my old training partner looked bigger than me at 5'7" @211lbs than I did at 6'1"@260!

ah, I love being big. I'm 5'9" and 255lbs! haha

its going to take some time though. you'll bulk, cut then bulk again etc. I have worked at it for a very long time to get the body composition that I wanted

alright thanks guys.
