I think these individuals who want to have ephedrine banned becuase of a few idiots that take it recklessly need to have their head examined. It's a perfectly safe supplement that can yield excellent results if administered properly.
Suing a supplement company before you know what the cause of death is is also pure B.S. - I personally think that if the test results come back negative the company should sue the hell out of the wife who slandered it - you all know what I'm talking about.
Here's a few interesting statistis.
Annual ephedrine deaths - 1 (maybe - has yet to be proven)
Annual alcohol and tobacco deaths - 7 million
And they want to ban ephedrine !! I personally believe that these people are nothing but greedy pigs and would like nothing better than to sue a company so they don't have to work anymore - more B.S.

Problem is though, pot smokers aren't out there killing people for pot (by and large), so the government I dont think is going to budge on it so easily. Although there is of course drug trade, just like there was during prohibition days. There is always the argument, however thin or not, that the government sponsors drug trade to raise cash.
