I'm just starting out at the gym and trying to get fit this year, I know a cycle isn't something a beginner or anyone in my shape should consider, but it's currently taking me about 5 days to recover from each session with my PT and I'm not going to see the results I want over the next six months if I can only get to the gym twice a week.

This isn't me being lazy, after a session I'm finding it almost impossible to get up, sit down etc for a good 3/4 days, it's only on day 5 that it's manageable to get back to the gym. Is there any substance anyone can recommend that will speed up my recovery times?

My stats are:

Age: 26
Height: 177cm
Weight: 68kg
BMI: 23
BF%: 29%
Skeletal Muscle Mass: 26kg
Body Fat Mass: 20kg

^ Agreed, getting in shape takes time. I used to be a skinny bean pole back in the day at 6 foot and 160lbs. It took me quite a while to get into the groove. The reason it takes a while to recover at first is your body is not used to this work and is in shock. The more you keep up with it the better the recovery gets. My good friend/ roommate is currently in the same boat. Start out slow and stay dedicated. The cleaner you get that diet the faster the results come. Your muscles need the protein to repair the micro tears making sore.

Best decision i made, get a Costco membership, go buy your food in bulk. You want lean meats, Lean beef, fish, chicken. Get good carbs I like sweet potatoes, rice and oats. Green veggies. For the other marco, fats, nuts typically almonds and olive oil and peanut butter. Just as a very general few options. If you really want to drop that BF% value really dial in the diet. As a former skinny fat kid ive learned this out for myself.

If you are looking for substances to help you, the only thing anybody should recommend at this level is just get some whey protein. Keep in mind these are called supplements for a reason, they dont replace real food.
