OJ Simpson and LT should be choices.
 
Eric Dickerson if he wasnt a fool would be up there. Jim Brown outran or flattened everyone. Barry Sanders was just magic to watch. Paytons ypc was nothing near impressive but he was a tough SOB and was around for quite a while. Emmitt is shit, doing what he did with a stacked team like that all his career.
 
jim browns game couldve easily played today like formena said he was a god back than....barry sanders has to be best rb playing with the LIIIOOOONS he did what he did what a joke idk how he did it i wish i ahd all his tapes so i could watchem.....gale sayers was amzing also injury cut career short tho i think he played less than 3 yrs??? marcus allen most complete back ever blocking recieving everything.....eric dickerson is up their this poll needs at least 6 choices
 
Barry was my vote, only 9(?) years with the LIONS and still managed to come close to the record.

But to bring up an interesting note, Marshall Faulk was not only a solid back, but top 16 in receiving

running for over 100 yards in 58 games, played in 9 pro bowls, had the season rushing record 8 years out of the 9 he played, holds the record for most consecutive seasons leading the league,#2 for most games, 200 or more rushing, career( OJ was #1...you forgot him too ), #1 at most seasons leading league-touchdowns,#2 for most touchdowns in a game, rushed 1863 yards in only 14 game season ( yard/avg 6.4 per carry) and also rushed 1527 yards in a 12 game season ( yard/avg 5.9) and career yard/per. carry avg.5.2 the highest ever.
