I like to dip my chicken breast/fish/steak into something when i eat it, or else it feels a bit dry, esspecially when i grill it

i used to use tomato sauce, but then i picked up some tangy tomato pickle (it has onions, gurkins, carrots and all sorts of veg in it so i thought it might be a little better for me) and used that for a bit, but sugar levels in both are rather high, i was gonna get some BBQ sauce because i know that tastes lovely with meat but sugar is high in that too!

i was reading the labels of a dozen of them down at ASDA then i got fed up looking and gave up, everything i looked at had sugar in (as 2nd or 3rd ingredient)

what do you guys recommend, is the sugar in these sauces bad or not too bad?? what alternatives are there?? (bear in mind i'd be having like a dessert spoonful of them a day, so it will be in moderation)

thanks

D.

I use mustard, ms dash, or garlic salt. Whats really good for chicken is crush bran flakes, and add some spices, (garlic, onion, etc..) then shake the chicken with the flakes in a plastic bag-like shake n bake. (coat chicken with egg whites FIRST, so the bran sticks to it) Or after you grill your chicken, and its cool, chop up and add salt, pepper, mustard and mayo. Chicken salad!
