With the holidays approaching and a lot of gift exchanging going on, I thought I'd throw this out for people to get or give ideas for gift exchanging.

What is the most useful and most worthless kitchen gadget you have?

For me:

Most Useful: Ready check thermometer with remote display. This is a great tool for cooking any type of meat to perfection. Takes all the guesswork out of is it done, rare, medium rare etc. I've never ruined a nice cut of meat when using this. Be sure to get one with a cord approved for grill or broiler use if you do. Mine was about $35.

Most Worthless: I've got a 1 cup chopper, where you put the veggies in and pound on the top. The blades chop and rotate at the same time. Cleanup is a chore. Although it chops alright, my Chef's Knife makes just as quick of work and the cleanup is faster.

Most Useful: Woman who is a good cook.

Best: Im gonna have to go with the Blender also. And maybe even the Measuring cup

Worst: Hand crank apple peeler :wtf:

Best: Blender and Microwave.
Worst: The 1/8 tablespoon

MY favourites are:

And my least favourite was one of those stupid vegetable juicer things. It was a monster of a machine with a bazillion parts that I owed AGES ago. It was such a pain to clean!!

I think we call that a Foreman Grill here!!!!!
