Saw this on another forum and, it's been beat to death but, what's the most important thing you've learned that has helped you grow?
I've got a couple -
I've got to eat. I have a terrible metabolism and always scared myself into thinking I would get fat, which I will unless I'm careful, if I didn't keep my calories, especially carbs restricted.
I figured out this was in my head a few years ago. Had calculated up my carbs from rice incorrectly. I thought I was getting 30g in these meals but, it was actually 90 lol. I was growing like crazy thinking it finally clicked..... Yeah dumb mistakes work out some times.
Second would be training frequency. The food helped and made me grow but, without the stimulus it's pointless. Also, stimulus without recovery is pointless. I was doing well and slowly getting bigger but, I decided to try way less volume while training the muscle group more frequently. This also made me take more rest days the way my training was set up (FT). It's been nothing short of awesome.
