Been trying to change my workout a little. I have been doing biceps and triceps on the same day for quite some time now. I was informed that if you want to see more growth in your arms, training them on the same day would be great. I am wondering what everyone thinks about this?

I'm 19, 6'1", 160-168 pounds, low body fat %.. and have come a long way with lifting. Started at about 139 pounds or less. Went from XC long distance runner to weight lifter. I'm taking weight gainer (Ultimate Nutrition Muscle Juice), along with Cell Mass and Nitrix. I've seen alot of gains since I've started using supplements towards the end of the summer.

Just seeing if people can give me some input on the bicep/tricep situation. Thanks!

I don't see anything special about performing biceps and triceps on the same day. As long as you allow enough time for recovery it shouldn't really matter when you do arms.

True. I've gotten excellent results both ways. The key is to mix up your routine every once in a while. Right now I do back/bi's together and then do shoulders/tri's together the next day. But in a couple of weeks I'll probably go back to doing arms on their own day. If you do them on the same day though, work the muscle that's lagging first.

Change is a key to bodybuilding. I've done bis and tris on the same day, but now I do tris with chest and bis with back.

As long as you're bodybuilding, keep changing it up to promote growth. If you're looking for change, give P/RR/S a try.

Just to let everyone know
Just got back from the gym, sitting here drinking my weight gainer...

I lifted LEGS and ARMS today...
and it might have been one of my best lifts ever. I did all legs... (Press, Straight-legged, curls, extensions, sitting/standing calves) and then did Bi's/Tri's (but i lessened my set count and increase intensity with weight) and I have one of the biggest pumps ever right now... I'm excited, as you can telll... lol :thumb:
