^ Become a student somewhere with a good crew. I studied Gracie JJ for a few years, the cardio and technique is awesome. I wrestled for 14 years so it was really cool to mix BJJ and wrestling. I'm not that good a striking though..

^^Bingo! Everyone needs to slow down and look at the big picture here. Yes boxing isn't what it use to be, but it's not all the fighters fault, you have to blame promoters just as much if not more. People always say mma is taking over, which really isn't entirely true. Yes mma is a growing sport, but lets be real, it's the ufc that really is pushing mma main stream. Without ufc, mma wouldn't be as popular as it is. As everyone knows the ufc is its own entity, and they can sign who ever they want, and then make the fights they want. So that gives you great fights, with top fighters fighting other top fighters, but it also gives you name guys who stick around too long cause the ufc continues to put them in the cage. So it's good and bad. The difference with boxing is all the different promotors unwilling to work with each other to make mega fights ala pac/mayweather. The pac/bradley decision represents what boxing nowadays really represents, and thats promotors making as much money as possible. This is why pac/mayweather will never fight. Don't worry about who's ducking who, the problem is neither promoter is willing to take less then the other and 50/50 for some reason isn't acceptable. So with that, one of two things is going to happen here. Both fighters are with top rank, which is how boxing is, fighters under the same promoter fight each other which keeps the money all in house. So with this decision top rank stands to make a shit load of money. Now for the common boxing fan Tim Bradley wasn't a name fighter but now everyone will want to see a rematch, which will generate way more money then this first fight. Or what I really think will happen, to me mayweather doesn't want any part of pac, so that keeps top rank from making any money off him, but I bet he comes out of jail barking bradleys name. So it'll be a win win for everyone envolved. Mayweather wont have to fight pac cause he'll be fighting the man who "beat" pac, and top rank has now made a name of tim bradley and can cash in on a mayweather fight. Pretty easy to figure out if you know the ends and outs of boxing

What boxing desperately needs is a commision, every sport has one, even golf (PGA) and bowling (PBA). 2012, why doesn't boxing have one?

I have been a fan of boxing since i was a kid, but the sport has been getting horriable over the last few years! I have continued to stand by it, thinking it would improve. Im done with it after watching Pac get robbed!! MMA is the sport now, im afraid boxing is done(to much shady stuff happening)....
