i cant remember when to inhale and exhale when lifting? also how do you breath when doing crunches. thanks

You should exhale on the exertion stroke ( example : Bench press you should exhale whille pushing the weight up ) .
Crunches same way . Exhale on your way up .
Breathing is very important to muscle development . So breathe , don't get all purple faced .

Yes, I would agree that breathing is usually required when lifting. Fainting is real embarrasing, especially if there is a cute girl.

I take a deep breath. Hold on the negative, and exhale on the positive.
As said before like on bench exhale while pushing the weight up.

Yeah if you don't breath you'll get high blood pressure and thats not good is it?

Sorry but not breathing properly and high blood pressure are not related.
Make sure your breathing between reps, don't think about it so much.

After awhile you don't think about it as it becomes second nature to you.

exhale when working against gravity

inhale when working with gravity
