Hi, I decided to bring my Whey to work do to the lack of time I have to eat a big meal. ( I only have 12 mins ) I recieve to brakes for every 8 hour shift. Now, If I happen to mix the drinkls at home, put them into bottles then in the fridge, then bring them to work and drink them at brake, will they go bad or something. I thought it might ruin the effects or something........ thanks.

Other posters will answer your protein question.

I am only aware that Creatine loses it's potency and composition if it sits in liquid for a period.

On a different note, it sounds like you are working for a crap employer....

tell him your diabetic...i do it for class/work/any other place they normally wont let you eat...i get some raised eyebrows, cause im not a small guy, but they allways back down and let me eat

I throw the powder in a shaker and add liquid right before drinking...sometimes. Otherwise I premix. It's fine. It's not like creatine. I think post-workout shakes like After Max probably shouldn't sit for more than a couple hours b/c they have Creatine in them but straight protein shakes are totally cool.

I worked for a company like that. I told them I was hypoglycemic (which is sort of true), and that if I didn't eat regularly I became a real jerk.

It's bullshit because smokers get little breaks all day long, and you're not allowed a break to eat?

Too bad we don't live in Spain where we'd all get a TWO HOUR break to relax mid-day everyday! This is another post entirely, but who here thinks the American Lifestyle (as it is right now) is inherently CATABOLIC? I, for one, do.

That's what I do. Put the powder in a container and add water and ice right before I drink it.

As far as creatine goes, I have heard it only "lives" for about 20 minutes in liquid, what WTF do I know. :D

that's fine, or you could just put the powder in a bottle, then when you're ready to drink add cold water at work.

or

you could eat protein bars instead of drinking a shake.

either way is fine.

Invest in some protein bars...I keep three in my car with me everyday!
