i have a quick question....on my bag of brown rice it says that one serving is 1/3 cup dry.... how much does that measure out to after its been cooked?
The kind I use says that 1/2 cup uncooked is 2/3 cups cooked. I am eating it right now. 2 servings, 1 can tuna, 1tsp chili powder, 1 tsp red pepper, 1 tsp habanero powder, 1/2 tsp garlic. good shit

What I would recommend is that you measure out 1 cup pre-cooked (which is 3 x 0.33 serves) and then measure it again once you have cooked it. That way you know that if you divide the cooked measure into 3 serves, each one will have the nutritional value of 0.33 cups raw rice.
I am going to start using more brown rice in my diet. In the past I have not had good luck in making it taste good. It seems to be undercooked as well. I use a rice cooker and maybe it just does not do a good job of cooking brown rice.
Any suggestions as to make brown rice taste better? I think I will skip the chilli/habenaro suggestion. Any others?
