Hi all, I am wondering, what are the basic differences between diets for bulking (adding muscle mass with minimal fat gain) and diets for cutting (reducing bf with minimal muscle loss)?
So far I only know that to bulk we need to eat more cals than we use, conversely to cut we need to eat less cals than we use (changing the caloric balance between positive and negative). But what about the P:C:F composition, does it stay the same (so we eat te macronutrients in the same composition for bulking and cutting, just add or reduce the amount/cal)? Or should we increase or decrease some of the macronutrients to make bulking or cutting more effective (if so, what's changed and how's the change)?
