can says 2.5 servings of 56g drained. I drain it, not crazy either, just enough to get most of the water out. Comes out to 84g total. What the hell? How am I supposed to figure out the macros? should I still just go by the can, or by the weight? that makes it only about 90 cals, and 20g protein. I guess I need two cans then huh?

If its the water draining, it shouldn't make a difference right?

why would draining the water change anything?

Find a better can of tuna...

Also - complain to the company. You are getting pretty ripped off with that - if the can says 2.5 x 56g serves (drained weight) then you should have 140g of tuna in that can. 84g if about 60% of the fish you paid for...

But yes, 84g of tuna is ~ 3 oz (95 cals, 21.5g protein). If you need 150g of fish (5 oz) then you need near on 2 cans.
