I need help.I recently gained 15lbs and I can't figure out why/I haven't changed ny eating habbits,I work out every day,I have been doing a lot of free weights for the last few months but I can't imagine it to be muscle weight?Any ideas what it is?

water? or it could be the scale. Did you use the same one for both measurements?

Your body might have adapted to your workout. You might need to raise the intensity of the workout, or possibly add some cardio.

hope yorue not using a digital scale...those things suck

It's hard to not change your eating habits. They slowly change day to day, and you may have just drifted a bit too far. Make it an effort to eat better, track your calories, and you'll do great.

How quickly was the weight gain?
Was your weight stable before this time?
Did you change your eating patterns when you started working out?

If you are:
1/ DOING the same things (same amount of exercise, same daily activities)
2/ EATING the same things (same basic foods, same amounts, same times)

As BEFORE you started to gain weight then there would have to be something that has changed with your physiology. You don't just suddenly start gaining weight if everything else has stayed the same....

So if you are not preganant ( ;) ) then have you considered going to a doctor to get checked for medical conditions that can cause sudden weight gain?
