Hey, I'm looking to buy a barbell a rubber weight set, and a benchpress. Does anyone know any good sites with cheap stuff?? Also can you guys let me know about how much is a reasonable price for the stuff i listed? When I go on websites and stuff a lot of it is like 500+ for only a benchpress that seems a little ridiculous or is it? My friend bought his bench, barbell, and 230 lb weight set all for a 100$ at a garage sale! The stuff doesn't have to be brand new as long as its good quality.

i got my bench and all my weights for.. guess...
yep... FREE haha people didn't want it i was like WOO HELL YEAH THATZ SICK!!!!!!!! hahaha came with over 300 pounds of weights... but i always see stuff on craiglist tho check there for sure

Check local ads in the free press/store windows etc etc. People give up on weight training all the time and want to get rid of their dusty weights sets for cheap which are usually almost as good as new.

I bought alot of my weights and power rack on craigslist.Great deals. As far as ebay , there is all kinds of stuff but when it comes to weights , you better be local because alot of people wont ship and if they will it costs a fortune...if i were you id buy a set of "adjustable" dumbbell handles that you can add how ever much weight to , a power rack (they are amazing) , and a utility bench that goes decline , flat and incline , along with some cheap olympic weights and bar.If you buy used it will take some time to find all this most likely , just have too keep your eye out.

yeah just check local classifieds...i found tons of stuff on there. i saw 2 benches with 300 lbs of weights with multiple bars and exercise capabilites on there.

Safety first.I would spend up to $600.00 on a bench that could support 1000lbs. than a bench that costs less and only supports half that weight.
