In my imagination.
At USA, there is a new game gaining popularity called manhunt. Basically, about 25 people have 1 hour to make it from one end of the campus to the other. There are about 50 to a 100 chasers in cars and trucks chasing after the runners. The game is really intense. It takes place at 10:00 at night, and the runners are in full black cloths or camo with our bodies painted like we are navy seals or some shit. A lot of the runners are military people. The game requires a lot of stamina and stealth, but it is a huge adrenaline rush. At one point I was hiding in the swamp lieing down under a bush while 8 people hunted for me, but couldn't find me in the dark.

Last night I was doing pretty well, until I was spotted and tried to lose about 4 chasers by darting through the woods. I was running top speed when I ran off of the side of a bank and landed 9 feet down on a concrete embankment that pretty much rendered my immobile for about 20 minutes. I gashed my leg open all the way to the bone.

I just got back from the hospital. I had to get a lot of my wounds cleaned and bandaged. I lost a lot of blood. My shoes and socks were completely red from blood and all of my sheets were soaked with blood this morning.

Hopefully, I will be healed by next Saturday and can play again.

That's sound fucking cool!

I'd love to play that!

sounds better than drugs and alcohol, i hope it catches on.

Dude. I got one word for ya. Staph infection. Bone deep contusions are prone to bad staph infections ... you be fucking careful.

This game sounds fuggin killer. Too bad the campus cops would freak out over paintball guns.

The nurses at the hospital took good care of me. They said I was nuts for having not went to the emergency room. They said there was so much dirt and dried paint deep in the wound it would have never healed. They shot me full of somethign to deaden my leg then they cleaned out the wound. Like I said, I will be playing again next saturday if my leg is healed.

There are bitches all over the place too. Most of the sorority girls are playing. I am somewhat of a celebrity after last night because I I colored myself from head to toe with green paint, and everybody said I looked like the hulk.

I'll get pictures next time and post.

This appeals to the freaky side of my nature and I am in envy of you for this. You get to hunt as well as be hunted too right?

sound like something we play. called police. 50-100 cops 25 criminals. and the same thiing except they have to pin you to the ground using anything punches, kick, w.e.
also theres another one. i dont play it but some people do they pretend to steal something in front of a cop and then run for a while and try to avoid getting caught.

We played that in high school. Was better when your wasted but your endurance is shit.

Yeah, we switch after each game, but running is much more fun. There is nothing like the feeling of hiding in a bush trying to old your breath while you are winded from running a 2 mile jog followed by a 100 meter sprint. It hurts, and your heart is pumping 90 to nothing. Plus, I have a pretty nice top speed, but I can't turn worth a shit once I get moving. Those little fast fuckers can turn o na dime. An Asian kid caught me, but he fucked his shoulder up on the same fall that got me.

WTF??? Why are people so F'ing stupid!!!!!!!:yell:

My friends and I played those games in the woods by our houses. The only difference was we had BB/pellet guns and we would tie each other up, we'd fight to keep from getting tied up. Plus the woods were full of briars and mesquite with 3-4 inch thorns. The woods were awesome because they had several different areas, a swamp, meadows, creeks, ponds, lakeshore, ravines and cliffs... even a desert area plus we had these huge oak trees that you could lay flat on a branch and no one could see you from below. When I was in the Navy my friend James and I were training with the Seals and we would play paintball like this as well on the weekends, I think it was best in the snow....

the last thing a university needs is a bunch of people running around in camo late at night. maybe you should switch to a different location so that you don't get gunned down by a trigger happy cop.

Reminds me of the time my friends and I were playing Ninja Hide and Seek all decked out like ninjas sneaking around the block without anyone seeing us and some old woman saw us creep past her window and called the cops, we had made it down one side of the street and were on the opposite side when they arrived, we heard her telling them she had seen about 7 people dressed in all black go by her window, the cops searched around her house and then left. It was hard for the 7 of us 10-12 year olds to keep from bursting out laughing while sitting in the bushes across the street...

Unless the university is staffed by a squad of Barnys then they already know. Lol ... some are prolly in the game. Part of the campus police department are normally criminal justice majors at the university.

We used to play a similar game, but it was around the mall parking lot and we were in our cars. High speed chases around the parking lot and back then it was just 1 security guard in an explorer. We'd get away every time. Then a knucklehead friend of ours tried playing when we weren't there and took out a power pole and 5,000 FP&L customers lost power. That was the end of TT.

wait, I just heard about manhunt the other day. Except that it is a website forum for gay college men who want to have no strings sex. No joke.

damn kelju. that seems like a huge rush. id love to try something like that but id hate to hurt myself pretty bad like you did =/

so this game you guys play is somewhat inspired by the xbox/playstation game "ManHunt" im guessing. that game is awesome..

Our campus police know about it. They chased one truck down just to tell them to be careful. `

Somebody else already said it I think, but what we are doing is wholesome fun when we could be drinking and driving downtown or something worse.

i googled manhunt.. no bueno :barf:

From eHow.com...Read the last piece of advice at the end

Introduction

Manhunt is a large-scale game of hide-and-seek. It can be played in any outdoor area with definable borders, day or night.
Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Setting Up

Steps

1
Step One

Select an area appropriate for the number of players. A quarter of an acre per player is a practical guide.

2
Step Two

Establish boundaries.

3
Step Three

Establish a signal for the hunt to begin - car horn, air horn, or loud yell.

4
Step Four

Choose whether you wish to start with a single hunter or two or three hunters for a large group.

5
Step Five

Choose a time delay for players to hide before the hunt begins.

6
Step Six

Select a method for tagging players. Either the hunter tags players or just calls out their names and hiding places.

Playing the Game

Steps

1
Step One

Give all hunted players a set amount of time to run and hide.

2
Step Two

Signal the start of the hunt.

3
Step Three

Begin searching the area if you are a hunter.

4
Step Four

Become a new hunter if you are found.

5
Step Five

End the game when all hidden players have been found.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep moving instead of hiding in one place.
  • Don't hide in groups or let others know your hiding spots. Newly tagged hunters will check known hiding places first.
  • Wear dark or camouflage clothing and good running shoes.
  • At night, allow the hunter to carry a flashlight and tag people with the flashlight beam.
  • Avoid hiding inside buildings unless they are open barns or the like.
  • The last player found becomes the first hunter in the next game.
  • Avoid dark areas with cliffs, drop-offs, broken glass or traffic.

Damn it people! How do you turn an innocent thread about hide and seek for adults into gay porn.

But I have to admit, that shit was funny. I laughed so loud, all of the other people in the lab looked at me like I was a rude jackass.

I played that when i was younger. Except in Brooklyn you don't really have forests or anything so we just played in our neighborhood. You'd have to grab the guy and count to 3, three times, then take them to 'jail.' Once the whole group was in jail the game was over and you switch, but we also had a rule where you could spring your partners from jail if you avoid the guard and open the door (the jail was typically the lobby to an apartment building). The game was awesome we would jump up fire escapes and climb up on top of buildings and shit. Very fun.

LoL....the "Public Safety" asshats at RIT would shit a brick if any of us tried that stuff here. That game sounds awesome, though. I remember playing variations of that game when I was younger, including an underwater one where you gotta swim underwater from one side to the other side at the deep end. There's one "shark" that has to go underwater and force you to the surface, and once you surface, you become a "shark" and go back underwater. Pretty fun game.

I also played that game when I was younger.....fun game indeed. I remember it was almost impossible for the last guy to go against all the "sharks" and received quite a beating underwater lol.
