The following is my current meal plan. Constrictive criticism would be great!
Meal 1. 1 cup oats, 7egg whites/2yolks
Meal 2. 1 baked potato, half lb chicken breast
Meal 3. about 1-1.5 cups of white rice, half lb chicken
Meal 4. no carbs (pre workout shake)
Meal 5.orange/apple and or banana (with post workout shake)
Meal 6. usually a small portion of white rice or baked potato or something close to those. (i.e. brown rice, or whole wheat bread) with some kind of red meat.
Meal 7. Veggies, with half lb chicken
Meal 8. before bedtime shake.
my question is, ive read and heard (from prominent sources) that white potatos are a complex carb and are slow burning. and i read that Jay Cutler eats white and brown rice year-round. so my question is, is white rice a slow burning carb? most everything i read or hear they just say "rice" they dont say brown or white. so can i eat white rice when im trying to lean out a bit? dont mistake me saying "lean out" for cutting beacuase i know my diet is not strictly cutting its more of an off-season diet.
also, am i eating too much chicken? is it unhealthy to eat it almost every meal? im gonna try to add some white fish to my meal plan like codd or flounder if i can to mix it up a little.
