Wondering if certain types of cardio should be avoided if you are trying to build muscle mass. For example, if I am trying to build up shoulders, back and arms etc, should I avoid doing cardio like a rowing machine. Would that not allow your muscle enough rest after working out by putting additional stress on them. Would that end up decreasing your potential gains? Or is the stress from a rowing machine not near enough to the stress of doing weights and hence okay? Looking for advice. John
