Hey everyone. Had a quick question. Im trying to drop a little fat. Im about 6'1 and 195lbs I'd like to get down to about 185 without losing too much muscle mass. What length and intesity of cardio should I be going for. I think 3 days a week, 30 min at a time and watching the diet should do. What do you think?

sounds about right to me

that, and you could try a different approach.

lifting heavy = raise in metabolism for the next 24 hours or so.

low cal diet = fat get burns during the 24 hours before and after workout :O means your burning fat not in the gym.

keep protein at the same amount but lower carbs and fats substantially. Perform refeeds do avoid allowing leptins levels to grow.

HIIT / Max-OT cardio added in...great for heightening VO2 Max, and raising metabolism.

just a different approach to it.

So lift heavier and watch what I eat. I always thought that I had to work lighter with more reps. It makes sense though the raised metabolism will proabably make it more efficient to burn fat when im not working out. Thanks

dont you need fats though to burn fat? Like omega 3's? and 6's?

yeah I thought so too. I was thinking of up-ing protein and fat intake and lowering carbs.
