We've all been told that "cardio" exercise should take up some of our gym time (that is, exercise that is supposed to make your heart stronger).

It lowers your risk of developing heart disease. It's also beneficial to your blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, energy, and mood. Cardo or Aerobic exercise includes:

  • Brisk Walking
  • Swimming
  • Heavy Cleaning or gardening
  • Running
  • Cycling
  • Soccer Playing
So, these aerobic exercises lower your resting pulse and strengthen your heart muscle. Most people find excuses for not doing Cardio, as some find it exhausting, boring or some says it creates heart issue. But if cardio is done in a proper way, it has lot of benefits like it lowers the risk of heart disease, blood pressure, cholesterol, and many more.

Average Heart rate while running-

The average heart rate while running is different for each person. It may be influenced by-

Age, Fitness level, Air Temperature, Medication use, Stress.

Most runners between the ages of 20 and 45 will wish to work out at a rate of 100 to 160 beats per minute.
