chest pain on heavy lifts

Chest pains = doctors check up.

i did warm up quite a bit..so thats not it..

And the doctors are fucking retarded..they have miss diagnosed me 2 times. and both times i knew what wrong and they didnt!

Ohh hey doc, i got chest pains while lifting.. Ok well, all i can tell you is to lift a bit lighter. hahahah GUARANTEE you that is the answer i will get..fuck the doctors :jerkit:

If you're smarter than the doctors why are you asking a bunch of faceless people on the internet? For all you know we're all doctors.

You need to get checked out bro. Lifting heavy is hard on the valves. You may have blown a rod. Seriously, don't try to be in denial go to a cardiologist....now!

Well, I don't get chest pains and I dead lift like a fucking animal. If I feel like it, I might even throw that shit up for a quick press or two just to keep my shit in check.

Then again my heart runs on Valvoline.

ask for a ekg and they will tell if your qrst complex is deflecting or a whole alot of other factors and get a lipids test. if ur real anxious it could be packed adrenalin, causing excitation of the heart muscle , leading to a squeezing feeling in mid sternum. but see a dr like gaz says but demand at least a ekg.

I had this same thing turns out it was ....
Course you want to see a doctor anyway, especially if its a prolonged issue.

Costochondritis
This is a common but poorly understood condition in which the cartilaginous sections of the ribs attaching to the sternum become inflamed. It presents as chest pain and may mimic cardiac pain. There is tenderness over the costochondral or chondrosternal joints. Other than causing a great deal of anxiety, this is a benign condition and reassurance and analgesia often work. Corticosteroid injection may speed recovery and allow an earlier return to competitive activity.

The tears came from taking hockey slap shots, the downward force and contortion of the body is what did this. If your hitting a medicine ball hard for abs in a crunch format you may have torn the same thing. It heals and then re-tears when you do some serious contortion. It's irratating like heartburn but nothing serious.
