I've noticed that since I've stepped up my upper body lifting I've been waking up at night with that "tingling" feeling in my hands like they've fallen asleep. This has happened several times now.

I'm guessing this is poor circulation. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Should I be concerned? What gives?

I wouldn't think it was poor circulation since that is the blood and the tingling would be the nerves. Maybe you are pinching a nerve with one of your exercises. You could systematically stop one and see if that helps, or try your doctor. I would try to figure out maybe which exercise was causing it. I was really hurting my tendons in my forearms doing barbell upright rows, and since I am doing dumbbells now I have no trouble at all.

Hope that helps.

Is it not cause you've waken up with your hands above your head?

If it is a circulation problem you could try gingo bilboa or however it's spelled.
