........... and half of his family ( 2 brothers and father). Only his 16 year old sister was left behind along with the mother. I kindly picked them up from where they were detained, and the mom has now a tracking device on her left leg with 3 months left on the country until she is finally deported. The child was crying none stop while all this was happening, and almost seemed traumatized. My question is why do this while the child is present? I mean a 16 year old female? wtf? I understand its the law but when I saw that little girl crying her lungs out it really shocked me. Im currently helping whats left of the family out with a place to stay, but IMO the USA should really change their deportaion procedure with kids.

They did it because right then because the perps would have just disappeared if they were given time.

They're here illegally, I have zero sympathy for them.

Yeah, if they want to stay here, they should go through the legal routes in becoming a citizen. If not, I think they should be deported also.

as sad as it may be....they are not supposed to be here. they have not gone through the proper procedures to stay here "leagally", so they need to get the hell out.

Im not against deportation, even though they were a hardworking family. What Im really surprised its how they handle everything in front of a child. When her mom told me the story of how everything happend I really felt disgusted. They made the little girl sign deportation papers where IMO she shoulnt have to sign shit until she is over the age of 18.

In a foreign country illegally?

Sorry, you broke the law.

Deportation is fair.

I live in a foreign country. My visa is current. I am legal.

I won't cheat and stay longer.

She is 16, she isn't a baby.

If the parents came here illegally, and they got caught, then they are to blame NOT the people who caught them. THEY did this to their children, nobody else.

I am with a mexican girl now, and have dated almost only as such for the last 11 years - doesn't change my opinion one bit.

They are some of the hottest on the planet.

On Topic: It is sad for the child. But, it is no more sad than watching cops and seeing a domestic crime with some alcoholic dad there after having beat the shit out of his wife in front of the kids. Kids see bad shit, and life sucks sometimes.

However, your friend brought all of this on his family. He is 100% to blame for every bit of it. I hope everything works out well for the children and the 16 year old mother, but I know that is far fetched.

Sorry kid you don't have to go home but you can't stay here no mo'....

Warm, happy, like to have a good time. And, good lookin' too.

I don't see enough of this.
Ya'll should see NYC, illegals from everywhere.

With the first wave of immigrants you get the hard working parents then the second generation you get the garbage.

Yet I love the stories of how much better their country is....go back then.

This is with every immigrant.

Probably because we are soft and allow this shit.

I understand the parents are at fault, my concern its still the little girl (16 years old its still considere a minor) as a minor she shoulnt have to go through all that crap at least until she is 18. The girl is devastated, no kid should have to go through that. And again I know its the parents fault, but immigration should really change their methods, at least doit it while she is in school I mean they just poped in their house while she was waking up. just make it easier for the kid.

I hope they deport the rest of the family also.

I feel really bad that they broke the law, lived here illegally, never paid any taxes, extorted our public schools and everything that is tax funded, and when they get caught they get an air conditioned ride back to where they came from with no penalty. Nay some of them are allowed to stay with ankle tracking devices apparently.

If I had my way, we'd drop them in the desert on the border. Some place where it is 10 times further to get to a US city than a mexican one. And we'd confinscate all their property to fund the administrative process that has to deal with these criminals. If there was any left over, it'd go to toward the taxes they avoided.

I remember that one, that was just wrong. I totally understand hating someone for coming here illegally, but this kid was innocent and we just handed him back over to the wolves like that at gunpoint. I really wish we could've done something to help his father get out of Cuba to be with his son. Damn it, I hate Castro for this! I'm sure he threatened the father's family or their livelihood to "persuade" him to stay in Cuba in an effort to make the United States look like the devil for handing an innocent child over to the mean wolf.

In most other cases I'd say they deserve deportation, but it also interesting to see that people will risk it all just for the chance that they might be able to get by on minimum wage in this country as opposed to staying home and being in a much worse situation. My visit to the Check Republic comes to my mind, not that it is the worst place or anything, but some of the things I saw while over there and those news stories I've read or seen on the internet, plus the movie Hostel - sick movie - make me cringe at the idea of staying there for more than about an hour without some kind of heavy weaponry. Perhaps something fully automatic with a lot of stopping power, I'm thinking Mad Max style here, lots of explosions.

Just because their country is a shithole doesn't give them the right to come into my country.

Of course. But think about the kind of crap they had to put up with just to get here. Now, do you think the majority of Americans would be capable of doing that this day in age? I just think people take so much for granted here. If I threw some of these rather large people off their couch into some of these third world countries, then maybe they'll see why what we have is worth fighting for (that involves the fight to get in and the fight to keep what we have).

I apply this to all other 1st world countries as well, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland treated me very well when I visited. I absolutely loved Germany and Austria and one day want to take a tour that follows the path of the 101st airborne as it worked its way through Europe during World War 2. France was not so nice to me and I have mixed feelings about Italy - kind of greasy but very nice at the same time (their subway - the "cube" - was very interesting :barf:).

Before anyone says anything, I'm sure Canada is very nice as well as all Dutch speaking countries, I just haven't visited yet and have no first hand knowledge (and I absolutely intend to visit someday).

Ever heard of people that come here legally and apply for political assilum and it gets denied? These people paid taxes, all of them. They din't cross no border, din't avoid taxes and were good hard working people. They still broke the law but your generalization of immigrants its silly. Not all of them avoid taxes.

Well the United States of America think cubans have that right, so though luck.

That sux for your friend dude, the law is the law I guess. Just makes you realize how lucky we are to be here.

Sorry, but I just don't care. This isn't a fucking McDonalds where you can cut in line, this is the USA where we have laws. I don't pay taxes so that illegal aliens can come and leech off of my hard work, and make no mistake that is what they are - leeches.

I love how ICE always busts the meat packing plant around here and the media always makes it out to be some sob story with the kids crying that the dads are getting deported.

Most people think natural born Americans are mean about immigration, I work with many legalized immigrants who want people shot crossing the border and having signs with english and spanish is completely wrong
