I have been looking for a new Gym routine for a while, That incorporates Big compound movements. As i feel i needed to get back to basics with my training. I came across this one from an old issue of Flex Mag. It`s emphasis is on Chest enlargment, But an overall Body workout is obtained. just wondered if any one had any comments, before i start out. I wanna be looking a Beast by Crimbo. If a can take the Pace. Cheers YK

MON/WENDS/FRI

2. Squats

3 sets x 12 reps
5. Ez Bar Curl

shit routine. stop buying mags.

Is this issue of Flex perhaps before it was Flex and instead "Muscle Builder" from the 50's-60's? LOL That's just ridiculous and obviously overtraining.

Even in powerlifting training, when I was training just THREE specific excersises, NEVER did I EVER do the same exercise two days in a row.

Granted, all of those exercises are great for putting on mass and building a good physique, but that split is absolutely horrible.

It was a 97 issue, (Dorien rebuts Arnold) a classic.
it was MON/WENDS /FRI, not THUR. oops my mistake.
and i would only have trained when feeling good to do so. Its still the same amount of sets you would do on a Say leg Day, but spread over the week..

Just have to be careful doing anything you get out of a mag. You have to realize that pro bb'ers are on something that you and I arent.

There is nothing in there to work the scapular retractors, which I would argue is one of the most important functions you need to improve in a resistance training program.

I couldn't fathom a "full body workout" which didn't have a rowing movement in it : /
